Training for United NYC Half marathon

It's just 37 more days to go and training is as good as not starting except few runs in gym.
Moving to new place and the weather seems to make it difficult, coming weekend it's going to be below zero and I am tempted to run atleast 2 miles just to feel it. Minimum temp I have run was around 16 degree F.

Taking a break after #1000MilesIn2015 has not helped in fact gained some weight. With just over a month need to start running long runs and get close to running 10 or 11 miles to be ready for NYC Half marathon.

Unlike first half marathon, I have a target to go below 2:16 and considering elevation it will not be a easy task. It all depends on the miles I put in the next month or so. Even if I don't achieve will have a satisfaction of running both NYC half and full marathons.
